⁣On March 26 2021, President Rodrigo Duterte signed into law RA 11534, otherwise known as the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act. The Law took effect on April 11. The CREATE Act is the second package of the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program and is well known for the reduction of the corporate income tax (CIT) rate from 30% to 20%. ⁣
